Emily Whiting to witness to ‘The Gift of Life’

Life is a gift, not a given. This is the first of many lessons Emily K. Whiting learned after the fateful day she received the unforeseen, and seemingly insurmountable, diagnoses for her then-20-week-old fetus daughter.

Come and hear Emily’s heartbreaking and hope-filled story of her daughter’s courageous fight for life and Emily’s faith journey as she walks alongside her daughter on the road toward healing.

Join us for this important and inspiring talk

7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, inside St. Francis Xavier Church

At this event you will:

  • Get a front-row glimpse of what it’s like to face termination as a medical solution,
  • Gain empathy for parents facing unimaginably difficult decisions for their children,
  • Recognize the dignity of each human person and learn what it means to be created in the image and likeness of God, and
  • Grow in confidence to get involved and actively shift our culture to one that sees each person as a gift, and treats each life with great love and respect.
