#weGiveCatholic on Nov. 29

Want a glimpse inside St. Francis Xavier School? Maybe you or your children attended here years ago. Maybe you don’t have children but were curious about the school. In any case, watch as two current students say a few words about why your help is needed to update and modernize our school as we celebrate its 65th anniversary this year.

Very soon, St. Francis Xavier Parish will participate in the first-ever online day of Catholic giving in Northeast Ohio. On November 29, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., we hope you will go online and make a donation to help celebrate the 65th year of St. Francis Xavier School. Do you know that many of the features, such as desks, chairs, lockers, flooring, restrooms and more, date back to the original building, which opened 10 years before our present church? If you or your children have attended the school, consider making a donation in thanksgiving for the gift of Catholic education here in Medina.

For every donation received, St. Francis Xavier School will receive 93.75 percent of every dollar (minus credit card and platform fees). This is a phenomenal rate of return when compared with other nonprofit gifts, when you consider that the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance recommends fundraising costs not exceed 35 percent of a related contribution.

Please support us with your donation on Nov. 29 by going to www.wegivecatholic.org, searching for St. Francis Xavier School, then clicking “Donate Now.” Your donation will go a long way in helping us to make improvements for our children. Mark your calendar, then Give Catholic on Giving Tuesday. Thank you for your support!
