Dear St. Francis Xavier Parish family,
With the recent devastation caused by tornados in western Kentucky, we are working with the Diocese of Owensboro’s Catholic Charities office to collect much-needed items for victims in two cities, including Bowling Green, Kentucky, which was among the worst hit and home of their Catholic Campus Center.
Financial donations may be made via the diocesan website, https://owensborodiocese.org/give/, and selecting the Tornado Relief fund. A special collection also will be taken up during Mass in an upcoming weekend (date TBD).
We will collect other donations in a big trailer in our parish parking lot. Parishioners will drive the trailer to Kentucky when it is full.
