Father Mike has been very inspired by some of the pope’s recent homilies and prayers, so he highly recommends that you take some time to read some of them. You can find them more easily now in this new (and free!) resource released last week by the Vatican. It is a beautiful collection of common prayers, blessings, the pope’s homilies and words of encouragement since March 9, plus education about confession when a priest is not available, and more.

In these days, in which it is necessary to pray, to pray more, let us think about whether we pray in this way: with faith that the Lord can intervene, with perseverance and courage. The Lord does not let us down; he does not disappoint. He makes us wait, he takes his time, but he does not disappoint. Faith, perseverance and courage.
