St. Francis Xavier Parish is happy to host the annual Veterans Day concert featuring the Medina Community Band under the baton of conductor Marcus L. Neiman and assistant conductor Frank Cosenza.
The concert, at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, will be held inside St. Francis Xavier Church. There is no admission charge for the program.
Medina Community Band is sponsored by the Medina Community Band Association.
Father Tony Sejba, our pastor, will be a featured speaker. Other featured speakers include Marcus L. Neiman, conductor, Medina Community Band; Sheriff Tom Miller; Randall Schmidt; Susan Taylor; and City of Medina Mayor Dennis Hanwell. Our Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will present the colors.
Organizers will have boxes available for those interested in making a donation to collect nonperishable canned goods or monetary donations to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Additional parking is available at 600 E. Smith Road and 620 E. Smith Road.
We welcome our guests and fellow parishioners for this important remembrance of our veterans throughout the country and especially those here in Medina. Please remember that the usual Monday evening Mass has been cancelled for this week only.
