St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and environment. Francis cared for the poor and sick, he preached sermons to animals, and he praised all creatures as brothers and sisters under God. Join us Monday, Oct. 4, as we celebrate his feast day by blessing all the animals. Bring your pets of every shape and size to our Washington Street parking lot, where Deacon Bob will sprinkle them with holy water and offer a special blessing.
