New Middle School Youth Group

Middle school students are like the middle child of a family. They’re too old for the stuff they used to do when they were little, but bored by the stuff that their parents and older siblings have to talk about. So, St. Francis Xavier Parish is pleased to offer a new youth group designed for students in grades 6, 7 and 8! This group will meet on Saturday nights, from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., once a month during the school year, in the Xavier Room. The group will be led by youth minister Chris Gillis and Summer Kish, our director of religious education. It will follow some of the same format as the successful high school Life Teen program — food, games, a little bit of learning and a lot of fun. We hope it will be a fun and safe place for kids of our parish to get together with their peers from any of our schools, have fun and maybe even grow in their faith.

The next youth group meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9. Stay tuned for registration details!
