Kick off Procession Facebook PostJoin your St. Francis Xavier Parish family to praise and worship God present in the Blessed Sacrament in a solemn Catholic Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, Sept. 20. Immediately after the 5:30 p.m. Mass, the Eucharist will be carried, in a gold monstrance and under a canopy raised above it by four people, out the front doors of the church to Washington Street.

Parishioners will prayerfully follow the monstrance down to the Medina square, where they will be joined by John Husbands and our Life Teen music ministry for Eucharistic Adoration and a time of worship, song and prayer.

At 7:30 p.m., members of our high school Life Teen youth group and our middle school Edge program will be invited to stay on the square for refreshments and other great activities. The evening will conclude at 8:30 p.m. The event kicks off the year for both programs.

In years past, this has been a very popular and sacred event in our city, with people coming outside their homes along the route to watch, pray and join in the procession. All are welcome!
