Congratulations to our CYO varsity high school girls’ basketball team, who defeated St. Albert the Great Parish’s team 68 to 63 in an exciting game March 1 at Beaumont High School in Cleveland Heights to claim the diocesan title!

The team now goes on to play in Canton this weekend (first game at 1 p.m. Saturday) for the state championship. Sixteen boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams from various dioceses will participate in the single-elimination tournament that begins on Friday evening and crowns the State Champion on Sunday.
