Christmas in July donation drive for Battered Women’s Shelter

Comment are off

XmasJulybulletinOur parish ministry to support the Medina County Battered Women’s Shelter is sponsoring its second Christmas in July donation drive. The shelter strives to empower victims so that they have the ability and resources to build a life that is peaceful and safe. Contributions made to the donation drive will directly impact the more than 1,600 Medina County domestic violence victims served by the shelter each year. A giving tree will be in the church sanctuary July 18 through July 26 to provide a reminder and drop-off site for your donations.

Please bring your unwrapped donations and put them by the tree before or after Mass or anytime through the week. Here are some examples of what are needed:

Food: Peanut butter, jelly, cereals, canned food, spaghetti sauce, pasta, tuna fish, cake and muffin mixes, frosting, mac & cheese, soups, Ramen noodles, canned lunch meals, sugar, Kool Aid, juice (boxes and jugs)

Paper Products: Paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, laundry soap, dish soap, sponges, diapers/wipes

Medicine: Pain relievers, TUMS, Pepto-Bismol, Children’s Tylenol, allergy relievers, Tylenol PM
