Boy Scouts hold clothing drive Nov. 5-8
Boy Scout Troop 506 is holding a clothing drive Nov. 5-8 at St. Francis Xavier Parish to help raise money for 2016 high-adventure trips.
Clean out your closets and donate any cloth items — clothing, comforters, blankets, towels, sheets, shoes, purses, coats, stuffed animals — anything cloth is accepted.
Donated items are reused, resold or recycled by the Easter Seals to benefit children and adults with disabilities; because some items are recycled, even stained or torn items are accepted. Donations are tax-deductible.
A truck will be parked in the east lot of the church/school, close to Washington Street. Clothing and any cloth items can be dropped off in the mornings before school or before or after Masses on Nov. 7 and 8.
If assistance is needed, call Scoutmaster Joe Reilman at 330-289-2074 to schedule pickup. Thank you for supporting our boys!
