Treat the women in your life for Mother’s Day

Treat your mom or all the important women in your life to dinner and a movie! The Knights of Columbus will host a Mother’s Day Appreciation Dinner & a Movie on Saturday, May 13, at St. Francis Xavier Church.

Enjoy a spaghetti dinner in the church basement social hall at 6 p.m. Dinner will be offered at no charge (donations will be accepted), but reservations are required. Space is limited to the first 250 reservations. To register, click the button below.

After dinner, enjoy a 7:30 p.m. screening of “Mother Teresa: No Greater Love,” a documentary filmed on five continents and featuring unprecedented access to both institutional archives and the apostolates of the Missionaries of Charity.

The film, which was produced by the Knights of Columbus and generated more than $1.2 million in ticket sales during its two-night showing in theaters Oct. 3-4, is a soaring tribute to a spiritual icon, a powerful witness of authentic Christian charity, and a guidepost for all who seek hope in our turbulent times. The documentary also addresses Mother Teresa’s admitted periods of spiritual darkness while serving the poorest of the poor, and her friendship with another revered saint, Pope John Paul II.
