‘Resisting Happiness’ book study begins May 5

Looking for a way to engage and grow?

Join us for a book discussion series that’s perfect for a time such as this. Nancy Fiamingo, pastoral associate, will lead virtual study groups to read and discuss Matthew Kelly’s “Resisting Happiness.”

From the back cover: What is resistance? It’s that sluggish feeling of not wanng to do something that you know is good for you. It’s the inclinaon to do something that you unabashedly know is not good for you. It’s the desire and tendency to delay something you should be doing right now. It is resistance that stands between you and happiness. In these pages you will learn not only what it is, but how to recognize and conquer it in your own life.

Until “stayathome” restrictions are lifted, we will meet online. As long as you have online access, you’ll be able to participate. We plan to begin on Tuesday, May 5.We will offer our groups at three times for your convenience:

  • Tuesdays, 10to 11 a.m.
  • Wednesdays, 3to 4 p.m.
  • Thursdays, 7to 8 p.m.

Please register ASAP by email: nfiamingo@sfxmedina.org (the 3rd letter is i, as in ice cream) or by using the links below. Please indicate the day/time you prefer and whether you need a book ordered for you.
