Celebrating Christmas 2020 at St. Francis Xavier

Christmas is a glorious season, and this year we may need it more than ever. As you make your plans for celebrating, we invite you to join the St. Francis Xavier Parish family to pay homage to the newborn King.

Whether you’re staying safe at home and watching a vibrant, music-filled Mass concelebrated by Father Tony, Father Mike and Father Kondik, anticipating the quiet beauty of a outdoor Mass by piano and candlelight, or longing to pray together in person, we have options for you.

The prevalence of the coronavirus in our community requires us to remain flexible while making plans for one of the biggest days of the year. We appreciate your patience and understanding that Mass times and options may need to change to correspond with guidance from local health officials and the Diocese of Cleveland. Please stay tuned to our website and other channels for potential changes.

As of Nov. 20, 2020, our Christmas Mass times will be:

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

  • 4 p.m. in the Church
  • 4 p.m. in the Gym
  • 6 p.m. Candlelight Mass outdoors (weather permitting, with livestream)
  • 8 a.m. Mass in Church
  • 10-11 a.m. Communion in the parking lot
  • 12 noon Mass in Church

Registrations and masks will be required for all Masses on our campus. Online reservations will begin Sunday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. and close
Friday, Dec. 11.

Christmas Eve Kit

For those who plan to stay home for this most unusual Christmas and join us virtually for Mass, we have put together a special kit to enhance your online celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord. Please register for yours by Dec. 13! We’ll let you know when your kit is ready for pickup.
