JAN. 2022 NEW CDC GUIDELINES
- Please email Mrs. Danene Beal (dbeal@sfxmedina.org) and Mrs. Anne Maxon (amaxon@sfxmedina.org) if you receive a positive test or in need of quarantine due to exposure of COVID – 19. Mrs. Beal will be in contact with your child’s teacher if remote learning needs to be set up. In the case of our younger students, remote learning may be difficult. We will leave the decision up to the parent/guardian if they choose remote learning for COVID related issues.
- Within 24 hours after receiving the notification, the school will notify parents or guardians about that case in writing, providing as much information as possible without releasing protected health information. The school will use their existing email notification system to send out this information.
- Our school must also notify their local health department within 24 hours.
- Beginning September 15, 2020, local health departments will report the number of newly reported and cumulative cases to the Ohio Department of Health every Tuesday.
- The Ohio Department of Health will publish this data by school or school district, including a breakdown by students and staff, every Thursday.
