Comment are off

The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, is celebrated on Friday, January 1, and is a holy day of obligation (although the obligation is dispensed this year).

At St. Francis Xavier, the vigil Mass for the Solemnity will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, and at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 1.

This day coincides with the Special Day of Prayer for World Justice and Peace in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.

The church will be open for in-person Masses at 5 p.m. tonight and 9 a.m. tomorrow. Masks and social distancing are required.

The 5 p.m. Mass will be livestreamed HERE

For those who remain in their cars to listen on 101.5 FM, communion will be available DURING both Masses. Communion also will be offered at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, for those who watched the livestream with us at home.

We look forward to celebrating this holy day with you!
