Sign up today to be part of our 10th Parish Day of Service!
We held our first Parish Day of Service in 2015 and discovered how beautiful it was to serve together as the hands and feet of Christ right here in Medina. This year, as we celebrate our 10th annual Day of Service, we have lined up nearly 350 service opportunities with elderly homeowners who need a hand around the house, agencies serving our lower-income neighbors, and eight nursing homes where our oldest community members now live.
Gather your family, your Scouts troop, your CYO or renewal teams or your co-workers, and build camaraderie as you work alongside each other to accomplish a goal. Or, make new friends as you partner on a project that will improve life for those around us. Earn service hours with your students or Confirmation candidates.
Hundreds of our parishioners have taken part in this ambitious endeavor over the last 10 years.
Show your faith in Jesus Christ and answer His call to serve the least among us.
Some jobs require some physical effort, like raking leaves or carrying heavy boxes. Some require less physical effort, like playing bingo with or reading to residents at a nursing home, or praying in church for those we will serve. Can’t be present? We’re also collecting donations for some of our agencies.
