Giving Tree brightens Christmas for those in need

Comment are off

Happy Holidays! It is officially that time of year again, and the St. Francis Xavier Giving Tree will be placed Nov. 19 in the church sanctuary.

Physical tags are available for parishioners attending Mass in person, beginning Saturday, Nov. 20.

For those who prefer, click the green button for a “virtual tag.”

This season, the Giving Tree will fill Christmas wishes for those young and old from five agencies: St. Vincent de Paul Society, Birthcare, Catholic Charities, Medina County Job & Family Services, and St. Patrick Parish on Bridge Avenue in Cleveland.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, these agencies have requested gifts in the form of gift cards to keep everyone handling and receiving gifts safe and healthy.

Once you pick your tag and purchase your gift cards, please turn in the gifts at the parish office with the tag attached to the front of the envelope, and the amount of the gift card written on the envelope.

If you choose to select a tag virtually, please print the tag and secure it to the envelope as well. If you purchase cards at a store, please attach a gift receipt to the envelope. (Gift receipts are not available for cards purchased through the parish office.)

PLEASE return gift cards to the parish office no later than Dec. 12.

Don’t forget you can purchase gift cards using the parish’s Gift Card Program to help the school and parish families here at St. Francis Xavier. Simply stop in at the parish office or visit https://www.sfxmedina.com/parish/about/gift-cards/.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the support and love you put into this special program!
