The Edge / Confirmation (Grade 8)

Our 2018-2019 eighth-graders in public school will participate in a combination Edge/Confirmation program on Thursday evenings from 6:45-8:30 beginning Sept. 6, 2018. Three nights each month will be taught as an Edge night, and one will focus on Confirmation. Regardless of the material, the days/times will remain the same. Registration for Confirmation is included in the Edge registration. Confirmation will be in the fall of 2019.

Our 8th grade Edge program continues our efforts in 6th and 7th grades to provide a different experience of religious education that appeals to the young teens and mirrors our Life Teen program for teens in high school.

Students must be registered parishioners of St. Francis Xavier Parish. If you are not, please stop in at the parish office for a packet!

Hours:

Students meet Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Drop Off:

Drop off will be in the church; pickup will be at the front doors of the school. Students will attend Mass for the first portion of their class.

Materials needed:

Students are required to bring a Catholic Bible each week.
