Lunch Is Served!
Medina High School is pleased to provide a lunch program at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School for a second year. Each week the menu offers a variety of meals featuring whole grains, fruits and vegetables. We also serve many “homemade” items including our marinara sauce, soups, salsa and fruit crisps.
Each day, the lunch provided is the same offered at Medina High School and gives students at both schools a variety of choices. The menu may be altered to comply with the required nutritional guidelines for students in K-8. Lunches are prepared at the High School by our cooks, and are then transported in our food service van to St Francis School. All lunch buyers are asked to sign up a day in advance for a school lunch with their homeroom teachers.
Many of our fresh fruits and vegetables are locally grown.
For students in second through eighth grade we offer the opportunity to purchase whole grain, baked snacks each day after they have finished their lunches. All snacks meet the “Alliance for a Healthy Generation” guidelines and are in compliance with Ohio’s Healthy Choices for Healthy Children Act.
The cost of a lunch is $3.50
Cost of milk only is $0.50
Reduced price is $0.40
All lunch deposits may be made to our school office to the attention of Joyce Dolinar.
