Medina High School is pleased to provide a lunch program at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School for a second year. Each week the menu offers a variety of meals featuring whole grains, fruits and vegetables. We also serve many “homemade” items including our marinara sauce, soups, salsa and fruit crisps.
Each day, the lunch provided is the same offered at Medina High School and gives students at both schools a variety of choices. The menu may be altered to comply with the required nutritional guidelines for students in K-8. Lunches are prepared at the High School by our cooks, and are then transported in our food service van to St Francis School.
Many of our fresh fruits and vegetables are locally grown. The organic bibb lettuce we use for some of our salads comes from Medina Creative produce each week.
For students in second through eighth grade we offer the opportunity to purchase whole grain, baked snacks each day after they have finished their lunches. All snacks meet the “Alliance for a Healthy Generation” guidelines and are in compliance with Ohio’s Healthy Choices for Healthy Children Act.
The cost of a lunch is $3.50
