Education and Experience:
Mrs. Borling graduated in 2004 from Bowling Green State University with her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She continued her education at Cleveland State University and obtained her K-12 Reading Endorsement. Mrs. Borling also took classes at Ursuline College and received her 4-5 Generalist Endorsement. Mrs. Borling taught second grade and math for grades 4-6 at St. Leo the Great in Cleveland for 8 years. This is Mrs. Borling’s 4th year at St. Francis Xavier teaching computer and technology to students in grades K-8. Mrs. Borling is also the Technology Coordinator at SFX.
Personal and Interests:
Mrs. Borling lives in Columbia Station with her husband and two yellow Labs, Bailey and Kingston. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with her two dogs. Mrs. Borling enjoys watching sports, cooking, gardening, reading and spending time outdoors.
Reflection on St. Francis Xavier:
Mrs. Borling feels privileged and blessed to be a part of the St. Francis Xavier School community. She is happy to teach academics and technology, but also faith, respect, and character building. She believes the lesson the students learn at SFX will help throughout the rest of their lives.
