Divine Mercy Sunday, XLT on 4/28

Comment are off

In the year 2000, St. John Paul II proclaimd that, from that year forward, the second Sunday of Easter would be celebrated as Divine Mercy Sunday. This year, that date is April 28. Please join us for a Divine Mercy celebration at 3 p.m. in the church. We will be praying the Chaplet, venerating the Divine Mercy image and prayerfully reflecting on His Mercy. Here is an opportunity to learn about this devotion and join others in prayer affirming God’s mercy.

Reconciliation is available Saturday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m.

Later on Sunday, at 7:15 p.m., all are welcome to the exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at XLT (“Exalt”) with members of our Life Teen youth ministry program. The hour-long service will include praise and worship music, Scripture and time for quiet reflection.

  • April 27: Reconciliation, 3:30-4:30
  • April 28: Divine Mercy celebration, 3 p.m.
  • April 28: XLT, 7:15 p.m.
