Father Christopher Weber
Father Chris Weber joined our parish in June 2018. He was raised in Brunswick at St. Ambrose Parish and graduated from Padua High School in 1982. He has a sister and two brothers along with two nieces and two nephews, all of whom live here locally in the Cleveland area. His father is deceased and his mother was able to remarry and lives in Bradenton, Florida, with her husband.
He attended Ashland University and earned a BS in education. He taught high school biology at Padua and Trinity high schools, and junior high science for two years at St. James School in Lakewood. He was ordained in 2002 and has served at the following parishes: St. Joan of Arc in Chagrin Falls – parochial vicar; St. Philomena & Christ the King in East Cleveland – administrator; St. Mary’s in Berea – parochial vicar; Immaculate Conception in Willoughby – pastor; St. Columbkille in Parma – parochial vicar; and now here at St. Francis Xavier.
